We have got you some great news Jailbreakrs! Pod2g is now running iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak on his iPad 3 “The New iPad”.
Few hours ago he made an announcement through his Twitter account informing us that he his iPad 3 running iOS 5.1 has been successfully “untethered” jailbroken.
Pod2g also said:
If it works on iPad 3 and iPhone 4, I can say it’ll work on any device. The ATV3 may be out tho… :/
Couple of days ago, Pod2g has updated us with his latest untethered jailbreak status and announced that he found all the required exploits and untethered jailbroke his iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1 which is a great progress.
After this announcement today about jailbreaking iPad 3 we believe that the untethered jailbreak will be a public release soon.
Again iDevices owners, if you haven’t upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 we highly advice you not to upgrade, and if you upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 and want to downgrade to 5.1 or 5.0.1 or any previous firmware and have the SHSH blobs to any iOS you want to downgrade to then use the updated version of RedSn0w and downgrade now to be able to Tethered Jailbreak your iDevice on iOS 5.1 or Untethered Jailbreak on iOS 5.o.1 and below. And soon the untethered jailbreak will be available for iOS 5.1
