Jailbreak iPhone 4S / iPad 2 5.0.1 Untethered - New Details

Jailbreak iPhone 4S / iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 surfaced today. Earlier this week, Pod2g announced that untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 will be released in a week. With every day passing more details are coming about jailbreak. Like many other users we are also waiting desperately for untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2.

Today, Pod2g unveils more details about the untethered jailbreak for A5 devices. Here's what he said:
The exploit I used to inject the untethering files to the 4S relies on having a developer account, and can’t be released publicly.

It’s the same reason why @MuscleNerd has an iPad 2 tethered jailbreak but couldn’t distribute it.

So, we need to find a distributable exploit to remount the system partition read/write and to set Corona files at the correct places.
According to the hacker, untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 can't be released publicly because you will need to have developer account for this. Pod2g also clears that why untethered jailbreak for A4 device was easy to release.

Update : just a quick little heads up, pod2g announced today on his blog about the new dream team who is involved on iPhone 4S / iPad 2 jailbreak. Thanks hackers for the hard work
@planetbeing, the legendary hacker behind iPhone Linux and lot of jailbreaks (see http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:Planetbeing) has joined the A5 research!

The famous @MuscleNerd (http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:MuscleNerd), the leader of the iPhone Dev Team, who did a lot of tests for Corona and whom integrated it and made it simple in redsn0w is willing to help also.

And last, but not least @p0sixninja (http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:Posixninja), the leader of the Chronic Dev Team, and my partner for years on iPhone security research has started to code and fuzz the Apple sandbox.

We now have a dream team to find a path for a public release of the A5 jailbreak.

Cross your fingers.
